And people wonder why I don't like professional sports...
Professional sports are bad... but apparently college sports are not a whole lot better:

College sports are a business, just like professional ones. The better the team does, the more tickets are sold, the more TV endoresments are recieved. It actually brings money in(mens football and basketball, and maybe hocky) to the school and supports other sports that do not (mens tennis, golf, marching band, and womens anything). Good college coaches make money, so get they get paid. Get over it.
