Superman Returns ??

Anybody else seen this movie yet? I was appalled at the lack of morality in the choice of a plot for this film. The entire movie plays as soap opera episode. I'll try to speak in ambiguities to avoid ruining the film. The end of the flick was the only chance where the movie had the opportunity for damage control and tie up its scandalous loose ends but failed to do so, I presume, for the opportunity for a sequel. Superman is iconic representation of truth, justice and morality, and this film destroys his principles and makes him less honorable than the average person watching the movie!! Lois Lane isn't much better either. I'll cite specifics in the comments section and welcome you to do so as well.

Ok, so Superman pre-maritally knocks up Lois Lane, disappears for 5 years and then returns. She doesn't even TELL him that they have a kid together until the end of the movie. He's already missed the first 5 years of his life. Then, Lois gets engaged to some guy (who's actually a decent human being) but never marries him cuz she's still in love with Superman. Presumably she's also lying to 'richard' that the kid is his. Then, even though Lois is engaged, Clark & Superman continue to hit on her and try to get her to cheat on her fiance. The movie ends with Superman talking to his sleeping kid and then to Lois saying "i'll be around"?!? A few points short of Superdad.
What happens in the sequel? Does Superman start paying child support? Does he find another reporter to knock-up? Clearly, I was disgusted by this movie.

Ironic how the writers of Superman wanted to do the "right" thing by being politically correct and removing "the American way" from Superman's vocabulary, but couldn't quite bring themselves to do the right thing and bring a little basic morality into the plot. I haven't seen it yet and may not after all...
