Darby and I have been reading "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick
Warren. In the last chapter I read he writes: "In worship we are to
offer our bodies as living sacrifices. Now we usually associate the
concept of sacrifice with something dead, but God wants you to be a
living sacrifice. However, the problem with a living sacrifice is
that it can crawl off the altar, and we often do that". It made me
laugh

Yo, dude -- hope your time in SField is going well. What was your overall take on the book? I've heard plenty of stuff both ways, but the librarian at my school is RIDING me about reading it...says it'll give me direction in life or something. I'm not sure I agree, since I don't really lack direction in my SPIRITUAL life, just academic and temporal. Anyway, let me know what you thought.
