Great boot for snowy or rainy conditions. The sole is on the thinner side so you can really feel everything beneath you. I'm not at all concerned about the boot wearing out, but I wouldn't want to walk around a mall all day because I think the lack of cushion would wear on me. They are meant to get you from point A to point B and then switch to a slipper or indoor shoe. They also work well for driving if the laces are left loose.
